BONDI TATOO PARLOUR’S REAL-LIFE DRAMA
Bondi Ink, the tattoo parlour in Campbell Parade – and the scene for a “reality” TV series of the same name – had its own drama when one of its ex-employees appeared in Waverley Court defending an apprehended violence order (AVO) application against him.
According to the Daily Telegraph’s Confidential pages, the ex-employee stormed into the parlour on December 23 shouting and cursing the manager after he had been dismissed over an alleged licensing breach.
The manager told the police who were called that the ex-employee (who had appeared in the TV series) had threatened her and made her feel afraid to leave the premises. (Hence the AVO application.)
The ex-employee’s solicitor declined to comment, and the matter will return to court next month.
