According to the Daily Telegraph, Bondi’s “hoarding family” has returned to their bad habits, being spotted with a shopping-trolley full of rubbish on their way to their house in Boonara Avenue, notorious for the accumulated piles of garbage and other rubbish they stored there.

Last July the council obtained a court order authorising them to clean up the property, about which neighbours had been complaining for a number of years.

This led to 10 tonnes of rubbish being forcibly removed from the house (which the hoarding family owns).

The council charged the family $180,000 for the clean-up, which they paid up to prevent the house being sold by the NSW Sheriff to cover the council’s costs.   But once a hoarder, ever a hoarder, apparently.
